Adam has connected.
DM: Alright.
DM: As this is just a reenactment, I don't really see a need for a map. Just plop a token down and we will try to repeat lines up to the point of before the transcript died
Tokens dropped onto map 'Grasslands' by player Adam (Player)
DM: Ok, let me check what parts need to be re-shot...
Ignatius Spendatem: k
DM: I thought you were Stendatem, not Spendatem...
Ignatius Spendatem: was I?
Ignatius Spendatem: no...
Ignatius Spendatem: that's not what my char sheet says.
DM: The other parts of the transcript say that...
DM: And Constance has a t in her name
Ignatius Spendatem: wtf
Ignatius Spendatem: there.
DM: lol
Ignatius Stendatem: there.
DM: Alright, so it appears that we have everything up to you going through the chimney
DM: I still think it's funny we are re-shoting a scene...
Ignatius Stendatem: I don't really remember what exactly was said.
DM: We just need the jist, really. You rain down, find your parts, go down the chimney. As long as we convey that that happend, and re-capture some mystery, we will have the scene. Other than that, you have whatever creative lincense you want to change stuff
Ignatius Stendatem: I guess I'll let you start with the exposition, then.
DM: The Macharian scholars never claimed to know what happens after death. A good Macharian does not need to know. A true patriot knows that all that is to be done in life must be done by the living, while you can still change things. To dwell on those who are gone would be to waste precious time from those who are still here. Worse yet would be to fear your own end, to let one's mind be filled with supernatural fears of what may happen to your soul after the point where no scientist can track it. These are the things they tell the little boys and girls of Macharia, and it is the philosophy that has gotten you through life. It did not prepare you for this...
DM: You awaken. You cannot feel having any limbs. You here wind, and see only fog around you.
DM: The fog clears, and you see raindrops around you, but you cannont move, or even see yourself. You are falling!
DM: You hit something. You are on a roof of grey shingles, on which many rain drops fall. Some of these rain drops are a hazy black, slightly transparent, and are clumping together into odd shapes...
DM: It is night, but you cannot see much else. You still cant turn your head.
DM: The clumps of rain drops continues to merge until they seem to form limbs. They come to you, and you start to feel sections of your body again.
DM: You now have a torso and two arms, in addition to your head. What do you do?
Ignatius Stendatem: Can I move my head now?
DM: Yes
Ignatius Stendatem: I look around for my legs.
DM: One is stuck in a rain gutter, the other seems to be in two peices, the lower leg and upper leg, one seperate parts of this roof.
Ignatius Stendatem: I fetch them to the best of my ability.
DM: Are you saying these things?
Adam: Whoops. No.
DM: You drag your body over to your legs, which readily attach to you. You notice that you are very light, and morph around the tiles to a degree. You also have black, hazy watery forms of all of the gear you had when you were last in that orb-world..,
Adam: I still have all my stuff?
DM: Yes.
Adam: I stand up and see if I can't get a better view of my location.
DM: It is a cloudy night, so even if there was a moon, you would have no way of seeing it. It is also raining so hard that it is tough to see more than 20ft from your location.
DM: You only see a small, cobblestone path on the ground below.
DM: Also, make a spot check.
* Adam rolls: 1d20+3 => 3 + 3 = 6
DM: Ok, continue
Adam: Am I all together?
DM: You have all your limbs, but upon feeling your face, you realize that your nose is missing...
Adam: I search the roof.
Adam: for my nose.
DM: make a search check
* Adam rolls: 1d20+0 => 18 + 0 = 18
DM: You notice it, resting right on the edge of this building's chimney
Adam: I grab it and look down the chimney for more of me.
DM: There appears to be something down there, but it is hard to tell, as you can't really get your head under the chimney's cover
Adam: Could I squeeze into the chimney?
DM: Not in your old form...
DM: Do you try anyway?
Adam: sure.
DM: You push against the gap, and suddenly, your body turns into goo. You lose vision for a time, but when it returns, you are in the fireplace, presumably having fallen.
DM: I belive that is all I needed, I have it from there
Adam: cool.
Adam: good work, team.
DM: Oops, your teeth were supposed to be in there. I have a line of you picking them up.
DM: Nonethelest, good acting
DM: You didn't actually need that token...
Adam: hindsight.
